The Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) has emphasized the importance of adopting electronic bills of lading (eB/Ls) for world trade and the environment. While eAWBs have seen significant uptake in the air cargo industry, eB/Ls in ocean shipping have only seen a 3.2% adoption rate this year, up from 2.1% in 2022.
