FMC: Decline in D&D Billings

During a May 29 meeting of the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC), an official from the commission reported that detention and demurrage (D&D) billings have returned to pre-pandemic levels after a recent spike. While billings reached their peak in 2022, data from Q4 2023 shows a decline.
