Customs Entry/Logistics CoordinatorHANOVER, MD

As a leading international freight forwarder and customs broker, C H Powell and its Tandem Global Logistics division offers exciting career opportunities for skilled professionals within the customs brokerage or freight forwarding fields. Privately held, CH Powell has 10+ offices around the United States.
Position Summary:
The entry writer is key staff in the process flow of paperless customs entry. This candidate must understand the entry summary and cargo release processes, different entry types of requirements, and participating government agency requirements. A successful candidate will posse excellent organizational skills, strong critical thinking skills and the ability to multitask within a demanding environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Importer Security Filing as required with 100% accuracy.
  • Tracking and maintaining system update with ETA’s
  • Gathering required documentation for customs entry
  • Timely and accurate customs entries including PGA data.
  • Issue of delivery order and tracking to ensure pickup and delivery
  • Issue client billing and adherence to CHP billing requirements.
  • Operate 100% within full compliance of CH Powell policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with clients, co-workers, and supervisors in a clear, concise, and timely matter.
To be successful, the candidate must demonstrate:
  • Ability to multitask.
  • A strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage pressure & deadlines.
  • Effective communication written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

CH Powell offers full benefits for full-time employees.
Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
