A major section of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore has collapsed following a collision with a container ship. This incident has prompted a search and rescue operation and has significantly impacted port operations and traffic flow.
In response to the situation, the Maryland Port Administration has announced the suspension of vessel traffic into and out of the Port of Baltimore until further notice. However, it’s important to note that while vessel traffic is suspended, the Port of Baltimore remains operational. Truck processing within terminals is continuing without interruption.
