The Asia-Europe shipping contract season seems to be at a standstill, as shippers delay decisions while waiting for confirmation on the stability of the Israel-Hamas situation and the safety of the Red Sea. European importers are holding off on tenders as they evaluate market conditions for 2025.
Since January 19, six ships affiliated with the U.S. and U.K. have successfully navigated the area without any incidents.
