Marine terminals at the Port of New York and New Jersey are experiencing severe congestion due to factors such as high import volumes, holiday schedules, and adverse weather.
Hapag-Lloyd noted in an operational update that “ongoing terminal congestion in the New York/New Jersey area is impacting carriers, terminals, depots, truckers, and customers across the industry.”
