Singapore Port Congestion Hits 2M TEUs

Congestion at the Port of Singapore has reached 2 million TEUs, representing 6.8% of the global fleet. Berthing delays of up to seven days are occurring, with over 450,000 TEUs awaiting berthing. This has led to concerns about cargo delays and high freight rates due to equipment shortages and lack of tonnage.
