UFLPA Enforcement Shifts Toward Auto and Aerospace Industries

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intensified its focus on the automotive and aerospace sectors in the first quarter of FY 2025, inspecting more shipments in this period than in any previous year, according to Kharon.
The latest CBP inspection covered 2,501 shipments linked to forced labor, with 82% of them originating from the automotive and aerospace industries.
