As the conflict between Russia and Ukraine persists into its third year, the United States has recently imposed a range of trade restrictions and sanctions against Russia. These measures come in response to the ongoing conflict and carry substantial implications for businesses and individuals engaged in transactions with Russia or territories occupied by Russia. Among the key actions taken are the inclusion of entities on the Entity List, heightened scrutiny on high-priority items, and the imposition of financial sanctions on numerous individuals and businesses.
Additionally, on February 23, several federal agencies issued an advisory warning against conducting business or engaging in transactions involving Russia or the territories of Ukraine under Russian occupation.
