The CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin lost 44 containers overboard and sustained damage to 30 additional containers due to severe weather conditions off the South African coast. Other vessels, including those operated by Maersk and ONE, have also been affected by the adverse weather, resulting in schedule adjustments and cargo transfers.
